AIO tanks

Anyone have experience with the larger AIO tanks, 65 jbj, water box 65.4, 60/80/120 innovative marines? Thinking will be my next tank, have about 60” width of space to work with. Pro’s/Con’s, opinions, experience, etc?

Anyone selling? May WTB a large AIO?

Any particular reason you want to go with AIO vs tank and sump? More water means more stability. 60" is quite a bit of space and you could definitely get a nice tank and sump.

There's a convivence factor when it comes to an AIO unit. They're literally a plug n play option but that also leaves you with a limited space option should you feel the need to add some extras on (reactors, filters etc.). You may also have to deal with "things sticking out" of the tank which can be un-sightly if that's your thing. It does give you a full, empty cabinet/stand to house all of your equipment (ATO, dosing pumps etc)

Innovative Marine and Red Sea do have some nice models, and they have product lines that are made to fit into their spec'd chambers. Both brands, for example have come out with their own roller filter lines which can be installed into the stock filter chambers.

The main issue I have found with them came with servicing the units. For example, there have been several times when I found my myself "arms deep" in my old Red Sea AIO just to swap out a bag of carbon. But that was minor and, in the end, it still gave me that cleaner look that I was looking for by not having the extra plumbing and wiring to deal with.

I have an IM SR80 Pro. I bought it from the Hidden Reef in PA last black friday. They have a bunch on display & in stock. We were originally going to with a sump version but this really caught our eye in store. We love it.
I have a build thread on here with all I have going on

Pros;
Super quiet
Tons of storage

Cons:
Some things stick out
Maybe can't fit all the gadgets you want in it

Depending on where you put it, maintenance in the back could be a pain. We have a T5 Hybrid fixture and that thing gets in the way if I want to try to go from the front lol.

Facebook market place always has some tanks up for sale

I made my own AIO for my 75g- a double ended. Third version- #1 a 29g, 2nd, a 40b, this one has been running for 2 years with no problems/issues. a drop in for a 75g is over $150 without a pump. My double sumps with pumps cost under $100
