If you want to get rid of aptasia just add klein butterfly fish. They will eat your aptasia and you can remove it easier than Adding zoanthid eating nudis. Using a pest to kill another pest is just going to leave you with two pest in your tank.

I would leave your tank alone. You have too many changes in a very short time. You just changed your lights and you are making all these changes to the tank. I would leave it alone. You can send a icp test and see what your numbers are. I would also check your water you make for water change...

20 nitrate is fine. if possible you can do auto water changes. Like 2 gallon a day. Since you are changing a small amount of water you don’t even need to heat or chill the water. You can make a large 20g brute and mix the salt
