So I did up beefing the silicon up more I got live sand picked up some mangroves I got tank water and rocks from @ThatPhillyReefer
Now I’m gonna let the tank do its thing and check for ammonia in a week
So I tried to cut the glass using a drill bit but that did not work so I had a tile cutter laying around and I used that and worked perfectly.
After cutting the glass I was able to glue it with aquarium silicon to prep for the sand.
So I couldn’t wait to get a glass cutter and decided to try the tile cutter I had laying under my work table and it worked perfectly
I will be gluing it in tomorrow just need to find the correct distance I want for the drop
Let the fun begin with this one 5 gallon pico tank I will be siliconing a piece of glass in the tank to make a 6in deep sand bed with a conch shell resting on top with two mangrove plants into a drop off into sps fun with some lps coral at the bottom end of tank I will probably add a tailspot...
I’m planning out a pico tank because I have no patience to wait to setup my main tank. So little discussion I found this t8 bulb on Amazon if I put it on a clamp light could it grow softies? Maybe some LPS? Yes it’s for a fridge :laugh: Thoughts on why you think it won’t work?
Haha had to look that up and nope probably just stack some rocks at most I may get bigger frag plates and make flat spots for sps coral for easy mounting
