The two mostly red goni's came from RAP 2018 I believe. We brought them up to the display in December 2018. The green one we have had for about a year. I think we bought it at the NJRC holiday meeting we had in Jackson, but I am not 100% sure. I'll ask Mike.
I've done this several times with nano's. When I did this, I would add some biosphera or similar bacteria, and I used to replace the sand bed simultaneously with live sand, rather than cleaning the old sand bed.
I've also replaced something like 90% of the rock in our 205, after cycling new...
Will and Ethan are awesome. Some of our favorite corals are from AO. Ethan has been helping us maintain our system for years. I highly recommend them both.
Birds nest, stylo, digi, and montipora are hardy SPS. They are considered “easier” than acropora.
“Easier” acropora are green slimmer, Ora green planet, Ora trio color valadia, and other acros which have been in captivity for a very long time.
