Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Ours would be out and about more at night than during the day, we have probably had 4 or 5 over the years. I think they are neat little critters. Never had a problem with them getting fish or shrimp, but we also made an effort to keep them well fed.
The rock is not currently "wet". Two pieces were pulled out of our sump this past week, but have been dry in a bucket since. The other pieces are VERY dry.
Sponge, if you want a small piece of "old" live rock, we have spare some.
The dry rock is pending pickup to Haus. If it isn't picked up...
We have formerly “live” rock taking up space. I’d like it gone.
If you would like some free rock, let us know. Can leave it on the porch any day this week. Will throw in free zoa frag for someone who wants to pickup tomorrow.
I had a nano FOWLER with inverts for about 15 years, from 91 - 2000, then 2006-2008. I always did water changes. For 10+ years, I did not have a skimmer- I relied on biological filtration and trickle filters. I did 10-15% water changes per week. It was a nano, but if I had not done the...
Hi Olivier! I hope you jump back in!!
We still use an ATI hybrid LED and T5 fixture over our tank, and we use 2 MP60s and an MP40 for our display. We have been using the ATI fixture for about 5 years now and MPs since we set the tank up in 2012. We don't currently run anything on battery...
I expected the same thing, but the opposite is currently happening, the monti is losing to the Efflo. The monti is growing out and to the sides instead.
They are growing, the largest is 1/2”. our presumptive parents are small, the largest is about 3” and the smallest 1”, so I will be curious to see how big these get.
We still have purple palys and pink and gold zoas (free to good home) but our next month sucks. Shoot me a PM and we will try to figure out a time, or a day when we can leave a cooler on the steps for you. Just realize that if a date doesn’t work until November, we aren’t blowing you off, our...
They are mostly doing well. We have about 10 of them, and they are coloring up, but they are still tiny. The largest is about 1/4”. Some of them have gone for a walk; several of them are in the rockwork now, which is kinda neat.
Most of them are orange, yellow, or red. We have adult red, orange, and green rock flowers. One isn’t colored up yet, and is grey. One is in the rock work, one is in a shell, and the rest are in the sand bed. They are scattered around the tank; some are close to the big rock flowers; some are not.
