We actually won a tank (jellyfish art) at MACNA, but have not had the energy to set it up yet. JellyfishArt is culturing jellys, making this a far more practical option than a few years ago. Coral magazine had an article on this a few months ago, i will see if I can dig it up for you.
So this little tank has been up for several months now, and I am really enjoying it.
I talked Mike into a coco worm for this tank, I'll see if I can get him to take a photo of it for me this weekend if we are snowed in :)
So this little tank is really starting to come along nicely, in my mind. I added two barnacle bennies this past week, and the file fish and cave gobies have really colored up nicely and are starting to grow. I need to see what zoa's Mike will part with from the frag tank for me in the next few...
So as many of you know, we have been battling to keep SPS coral healthy for some time now due to alk swings.
We *seem* to be stabilizing, and have a few tester frags in the display. Cross your fingers for me that they do well!

You can't see it in this photo, but this tank houses Mike's very first invert- a serpent star we picked out in 2008 for his first nano :)
Sooooo. . . it has been almost two months since our last update. The good: most of the rock transfer went fine. The rock went out, the rock was cooked, the phosphate readings were low, the rock came back in.
The bad: we lost several fish and a bunch of corals. Several of my assessor...

Ethan at AO set up our fish room, and I would recommend him. He got it done so much more quickly then we every would have been able to!

he is about 12", not a big guy, although I'm happy to report that except for a red abrasion on his nose he appears to be ok.
