Wondering why, when asked their location, the norm is for people to respond with their zip code rather than town name. Is there a reason I’m missing? Does anyone find zip codes more convenient than a town name?

Hanna checker for alk works well for me. Cross-tested with my Red Sea recently and got equal results, but if you’re not trusting red sea that may not reassure you. I’ve read hannas aren’t that reliable for calcium so I stick with Red Sea for that. And I test magnesium only if I’m having...

I use inkbird. I have it set for the alarm to go off at +/- 1 degree and it does when I do water changes and the level drops below the probe. Otherwise the temp remains in the range I set it for. I’m haopy with it.
