Not sure, I'm just going by what my eye is telling me. I do run carbon but it just seems as if the water was clearer after the additon of the oysters. I think the ones in my sump are doing most of the work as the ones in the tank stay closed when the snails and crabs are walking on them...
I got 6 West coast oysters in my tank (3 in tank /3 in sump) about a month ago. All seem to be doing fine, and my water is crystal clear. Although I think the ones in the tank would do better in the sump because they will not open when a crab or snail sits on them.
Bottom tank may look different because it's a see through and the light might difuse different. I do remember seeing another softie tank that had the same color and I think it was primarily done with Fiji Purple T'5's?
Correct me if I am wrong but, wasn't R2R created because these guys felt they were being bullied and ridiculed over on Reef Central? I have been slapped on the wrist a couple of times via private message from the moderator telling me I was insensitive. I also heard from him when I put up a post...

If you were brave eenough..........could have parked on the west bound side and tried to run across the highway and jump the center divider in between cars. Guess you didn't want anything bad enough. LOL!
Probably not worth a large group trip just yet. He only has 2 small frag tanks up and running. Maybe 50-60 corals in stock. Zoa, Ric, Acan, Torch, hammer frags etc. etc. Also has some NYOS and Brightwell supplements and Neptune, Fritz salt supplies. I think I saw a trident or 2 on the shelf...
Exotic Aquatics is now open on Rt. 31 N. in Flemington across the street from Hunterdon Medical Center. Been up and running for about 4 months now. Super nice store although he only has 2 frag tanks set with corals up so far, but has many more curently in cycle. Probably has about 10-15 tanks...
This is why they are doing frame replacements..........My buddy had Toyota spray his new pickup with some kind of frame coater to prevent rusting. Turns out the damn stuff never dried. Scary thing is they are doing these frame replacements in 6 hours! My buddy took his truck in on a Wednesday...
