It's a crappy shot but I have a similar mushroom, a few floating around With blues and with orange filter

For me, no need for anything fancy, use a pair of scissors and just cut off half of its lobe. I mean I've personally just ripped off pieces of mushrooms with success.

Anyone have experience with these guys? They are a stunning fish in person but I've heard mixed views on them. My current tank is all softies, gorges, mushrooms. No lps/sps corals in stock

Leave it, I believe they are like frogspawn and use that as a defense mechanism. It should be ok, hows the rest of it?

My 1st brand of Kalk was the Kent marine brand with great results. You can find that in any Petco. It's very "powdery" so be careful not to inhale the stuff.

I usually let it sit for a couple of hours, its usually clear by then. I personally dont test much but it cant hurt if you do. You can always up the dose to a maximum of 2tsp per gallon but any more than that and the kalk wont mix, hence why some some with higher demands go other routes down the...

Give it time, especially for the pods. Soon they'll be all over the place once they reproduce

Just make sure that: A. You dont suck in the "skim" crust that's ontop of the water B. You dont suck in the kalk sludge that's at the bottom of the bucket. You want the clear-ish stuff that's in the middle

I use kalk and have used it from day 1 without issues as my only supplement. I use 2.5tsp per 5 gal of RO. Edit This was a straight dump into my ro container and my ato would dose this automatically. Once stirsti till mixed, then allowed to settle for atleast an hour.

Do you need a 30L or it doesn't matter? I have a 29H you can have
