I know this sounds very ‘uncaring’ but how does one figure out that a dog needs insulin? It honestly would never occur to me look into this so just wondering how someone would figure this one out.
i found an interesting topic on Randy's thread on R2R. It appears that if you are running high par, you need higher nutrients. I noticed the same myself and just the tips of my sps were going white. Apparently with high par and high alk, you need high nuturients or the skeletons will grow too...
Out of curiosity...what do you dose with, what is your solution's concentration and what is your dosing routine? I just started on Phosphate (Trisodium Phosphate) so hoping to avoid another oops. Based on Randy's dosing guides...2 grams per liter concentration will raise a 100 liter's...
Exactly. My cheato is too efficient. I feed pretty heavy but I’ve found that it is darn hard to maintain these levels without stripping them through filter then dosing back in. Harder that calc and Alk in my opinion

Petco just had a special of 20% of a 160 gal bucket which was on sale for 39.99 of instant ocean reef crystals. Turned out to be 32 for 160 gallons. Was nice.
Got lucky here in medford lakes. Damage to the north south east and west...we had a couple of inches, a few gusts and our lakes are a little more full this morning..but we got REAL lucky. Hope everyone else was just as lucky.
