They can be used for that...i see two problems. Nothing insurmountable but would be my considerations 1. You need a separate sensor 2. Volume. Many dosers would have problems keeping up with high volumes of evaporation.

Is it just me or is everyone else just as disappointed in the Memorial Day sales? Very few places were running sales on the in demand hardware. There were a couple of sales for non MAP items, but jeez. I guess the reef manufacturers are so in demand that sales aren’t necessary.

I use cheato and dose potassium nitrate. Keeps phosphates undetectable not to mention just enough nitrates to say I have some. Never made sense to me until I found out that cheating takes up nitrate faster than phosphate. As such, I dosed nitrate to cheato will take up both fast. Love it

Having a little set back. Some white slime goo keeps generating. I keep siphoning it out but it keeps coming back. I took out my sacrificial hammer frag wondering if it is just pumping out slime. I don’t know. Just slimming faster that I can clean it. Thoughts?
