    High aluminum?

    Those are ceramic based as well. Randy Holmes from R2R has done a lot of research about all ceramic based bio media leaching aluminum to one extent or another, some worse than others. So I’m trying to avoid all that together.

    Red Sea offered to send me a new replacement due to me finding a mishap in the silicone. I was told by Red Sea that they leave a lot of extra silicone to factor in the damage that algae scrappers can cause and I was told this is within that margin and it is not an issue. Glass is 3 months old...
