My last batch of reef crystals mixed at 6dkh, I've since switched to tropic marin. Not saying this is the issue here but that was my experience with rewf crystals. I'll add I never had an issue with them in the past mixing that low.

Pulled the trigger on the aquatic life t5 hybrid. Bulbs will be 3 blue+ and 1 purple+ ( thanks @MaximusReef and @mnat for the recommendations) I will be running 3 ai primes with it as well. I have to determine if I'll be ceiling mounting the fixture or wall mounting it with the aquatic life wall...

I think that's the setup I'm going to start with and change it if I decide I don't like it. If I don't like all 3 blue + then I can swap 1 out and I'll have a spare blue + for future use.

I didn't make it either for that deal but the buy one get one deal this weekend on the frags was more my speed anyway. I think they have buy one get one 50% off on fish this weekend.

If I didn't already have a bunch invested in my 3 ai primes I would consider all t5 myself. But I do like the hybrid tanks I've seen from other members here so I think I'll be happy with the hybrid setup. I should have asked more questions on what they all were running to get a better idea of...

Im debating on pulling the trigger on the 48" aquatic life t5 hybrid fixture. I have 3 ai primes I plan to use with it. What is the preferred bulb combo most use for 4 bulb t5 hybrids? Pics of current setups appreciated if anybody has some to share.
