I'm looking for a macro lense for my Nikon D70. How are the sigma lenses like this one - http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_all_details.asp?id=3346&navigator=3. Or this http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_all_details.asp?id=3283&navigator=5. Or should I just go with the Nikon 105mm?
I think maybe you should pick the one you like best and put the other up for adoption. I had a GSM and 2 false percs together in a 180, all was fine for 3 months and then it got ugly. Torn dorsals, tails and just constant fighting. The maroon had to find a new home
I guess that could be it. It's just that like I said they were full grown a year ago when I got them. You would think that would all have been sorted out already. I'll try catching the injured one again tonight, if he survives the day.
Remove one? I spent an hour trying to catch the injured one last night. I don't see that happening. I guess I'll just let nature take it's course. I just can't take apart the whole tank to catch a clown.
My two occelaris clowns that I have had for a little over a year are no longer getting along. I got them as my first two fish before doing any research on anything really. They were about 3 - 3.5 inches long when I got them and they are still about the same size. They have not done any shimmy or...
As far as what I already have, I'm sure the few SPS I have would appreciate the extra wattage. My BTAS and haddoni certainly wouldn't mind it either. I do plan on more acros in the future as well. I could always reposition any LPS or zoas that don't respond well.
One of the reasons is I do want...
I have been thinking about yet another upgrade. This time I would like to do a real nice light set up. When I started a little over a year ago all I wanted was a couple clowns and an anemone in my "29g" tank. What happened???
Ok, I would like to do 3 - 250w MH bulbs in Lumenarc reflectors...
Tito, I set up BTA island to raise some btas for future sale. Sorry, not selling any yet.
Camz28, I briefly hinted about another tank. Let's just say I won't be bringing that up again. At least for a while.
I'm not movin nuthin! No, once the kids get a little older and I can have my family room back(it's the play room right now), I hope to set up a little larger tank ;). Maybe 96x30x30. That's the plan anyway. And if I can't have my plan, she can't have tile. ::)
I did that to get as much height in the stand as I could without going over 36" on the finished height. BIG mistake. Floor is all warped under and around the tank. My wife's not too happy about that. Then again she wants to tile the living room where the tank is and the dining room.
I would probably take Randy's word over Pinoints myself. I was just showing what pinpoint showed as the value. At 5 one thousandths of a point difference, I don't think it really matters that much.
The RBTA I got from Fisheye 10 days ago has split already. I got home from work to find 2 little rbtas along side my 12" rbta and the 10" gbta I got from Phyl. At this rate I'm gonna need a couple more tanks. Wonder if the wife will go for that? ::)
I have calibrated it a few times over the last year with rodi or distilled water to zero. My water tested at 1.026. When I checked the pinpoint solution it read almost 40ppt. I calibrated with the pp to 35 and my wter tested low 1.023
I don't know??????? ???
