I need some of these desperately but i can't find them anywhere. The only store that sells them in NJ is absolutely fish but at $25 a pop i don't think it's worth it
For the most part, everything is actually way better than expected. Even a lot of the SPS is perfectly fine and happy. Almost like nothing happened. Everything else is open and back to how it was before
Idk if anyone is interested but i finally moved the tank on Sunday. Took me all day doing it by myself. (lots of pain the day after lol).
I just finished setting it up completely since then. (works got me super busy). But the last piece i put on was the light (to minimize stress on fish)...
Alveopora/gonioporas are slightly difficult corals to keep as they are a hit or miss on survivability depending on if they're wild caught or tank grown. I definitely would never recommend them to beginners. As you haven't had the tank for that long, I'd be hesitant to get some before doing some...
I'll never buy from WWC OR TSA ever again. Worse corals and most money I've ever spent. Aqua SD always has good deal, good size pieces and have always sent me freebies. POTO I've gotten some good things off their auctions for cheap too.
IE: trachy for $30 and a acantho for $35.

So I've run into a problem. I hooked up my RODI unit, to find out i get only about 40 psi. I'm now in a rush to try to find a store with a booster pump in stock bc i need to finish moving my tank this weekend.
It's never easy is it?
I finally finished getting set up in my new apartment and now it's time to start moving my tank. Whats the best way to go about it without losing everything? Only about a 10 minute drive
I also use 2 smaller heaters rather than one large one. I also use the ink bird wifi model so i get a notification to my phone. I have it gonnected to a wifi power strip so i can turn them off no matter where i am
I'm in the process of moving into a new place and i want to change my tank up a bit. I would like something slightly bigger but not massive. I really wanna go peninsula style but i can't find any tank size that'll be good enough. Not a fan of tall tanks.
Currently have a 40B. I love the wide...
Dealing with aptasia on this zoa rock. What's the best way to get them off? I don't mind killing the zoa's around it, just scared that in doing so, they'll release palytoxin and hurt me or the tank. Any tips on how best to approach this?
I second that. I'll never buy fish or coral from Petco. Even the brick one. While they do take good care of stuff, at the end of the day, it's still a Petco. And i remember seeing a large outbreak of disease while Andrew was out. I very highly doubt they went through the process of getting rid...
