The Crab from the Shore
Oh Hello there crab from the Jersey Shore
Why art thou running across my hardwood floor?
Are you perhaps making a break for the door.
Or just so happy and trying to explore?
My son found you in a tidepool and figured he would have some...
I would ditch the LED's and go with 4 T5 Bulbs. A cheap inexpensive fixture will give you more flexibility with the corals you can keep in the frag tank compared to LED's that might not be so generous to most corals initially.
I THINK - Just me... that frag tanks should be able to keep...
In a 75 with 18" front to back and an overflow probably in the middle of the tank taking up another 6/7" the t5 is most evenly covering the tank. The ATI's ale reflectors direct light straight down which means he can hang the lights higher than someone with a deeper tank. This is because his...
Yep. - There is nothing ever internally wrong with the light. They are factory seconds. Mine had a 1" long barely able to catch on a fingernail scratch on the TOP near the plug. They usually send you pictures of the scratch and dents before you buy it. I had trouble finding it lol... To me the...
Dimmable..
You do not need the dimmable sunpower. Its NICE.. but you don't NEED it. As a matter of fact its not good to start DIMMING your bulbs until you have put at least 100 hours on them. Dimming the bulbs also decreases their lifespan if I read correctly. I have the ability to do it...and...
6 Bulb T5 Hands down
My Reasons.
1. Haven't used metal halide in a while but there are not really many popular bulbs in the 175 Watt Range. If you were doing the metalhalide then I would want the 250w RADIUMS or PHOENIX's.
2. That adds heat and in a 75 just too much heat.
3. The ATI is...
Hey guys just going trough my new build and eliminating some things that can't be used. Everything is in great condition and works great.
$125 - Apex EB8. This is almost brand new. All it ever did was control my lights when I had my Frag System Plumbed into my main display. That was VERY short...
hows that regal angel I think it is treating your corals?
Also I wanted to ask about your flow. I noticed that you have all your powerheads on 1 side of the tank. Do you lack any flow by doing that? Does your overflow work as well with the pumps pushing water away from it?

That stuff strongly reminds me of my secret acro ingredient. They have the same effect. One powder is dosed first the green powder and within minutes scolys and sps will have full polyp extension and be in a feeding frenzy.
Then you dose the red powder. The effect is kinda shocking.... I've...
