    That's great!! CB can be hit or miss and sometimes hard to find a healthy specimen and then they start nipping at LPS, etc, etc

    I would say 7 is extremely low. Before I removed my PH probe years ago I was always in the 7.5 range with no issues. Are your corals happy?

    I haven't checked my PH in 10 years and have always run a calcium reactor. People do more damage by chasing this parameter as opposed to just leaving it be. As long as its not extremely low and your ALK and Calcium is stable you will be fine. Best way to raise it is by adding kalk to your top...

    I switched out the original builder grade central AC several years ago with a 95 rated efficient unit. The drop in my electric bill was several hundred a month. If you can swing the cost go ahead and make the switch as soon as you can. It will pay for itself that much faster.
