The link came through and I was looking at the one earlier. For now I took the glass lid off and have the ceiling fan on. I’m hoping this may work otherwise I am going to order one In The next day or two.
Thanks everyone
So im looking at fans to buy and am wondering if a twin fan is enough or should I get a quad fan? My tank is 65 gallons and I have a 29 gallon sump. Also would this work on my sump rather than my display tank?
I definently don’t want a chiller. They are expensive, large and can be noisy. Does a fan make that much of a difference? Will it actually cool it down a few degrees?
So, I have found it tough to keep my tank cool on these very hot days. It has been hovering around 80 at any given time. My tank is located upstairs and the AC is always set on 74. My heater is unplugged, my led lights are about 10 inches above the water and are only on for eights hours a day...
Well, I feel like a dumb ass right now... I took my rodi unit off the wall and had a good look at it. It appears that the hoses were not assembled correctly. Now, I had the correct water line draining to my bucket but the flow from chamber to chamber was incorrect. Who knows what type of...
I’m gonna have them read my TDS in the next few days. If my water is unnormally high for some reason, is there a special cartridge or something to put in the canisters of my RO unit.
One thing that I have noticed lately.... is that when I turn my RO unit on, it makes the water much...
So I’ve been stuggling with hard water and I’m looking for suggestions. My alkalinity about a month ago was 14. I had it tested by TSM aquatics. Following the guidance of TSM Aquatics I started doing 15 gallon water changes once a week to try and lower it slowly. My tank and sump hold roughly...
Looking to buy a protein skimmer that will handle about 80 gallons of water. If you have one laying around and don’t use it please let me know. FYI, I do not want a octo protein skimmer I’m getting rid of mine and want something different.
As I have written many times I have had nothing but problems with my Octo 110 protein skimmer and am looking to buy a new one. I’ve fussed with this one for two months now and it’s time for a change. I’ve owned many protein skimmers and never had a problem like I did with this one
So what is a...
I honestly don’t understand it either. Everything is hooked up correctly. It’s skimming great but the micro bubbles came back in the display tank. I’m just happy that it’s skimming properly.
So it has been about seven weeks since I gave my skimmer a vinegar bath. It has been quite the challenge trying to get it to skim properly. I have raised and lowered the sump in many different ways and nothing worked. Than this morning I was determined to get it working. After messing with the...
I plan to keep up with the dosing for 8 weeks, which is what they recommend. The resurgence that occurred this week had me slightly concerned and I don’t want to take a step backwards. Which is why I thought maybe doing a slightly larger water change could correct this.
