Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Some advice:
Take it slow. Don't rush things cause nothing good happens quickly in this hobby.

Second welcome aboard. I'm about 45min from you and work at Stockton. I used to go to Ocean Aquarium a lot but since breaking down my tanks I don't go much. Hopefully soon I will get a tank going again.
First sorry to hear you are leaving the hobby. I totally understand as I just broke down my tank so I can focus on other things.

that nice. When I was going with my 54 tank, and some what with my 36. I used my raspberry pi to control outlets that I wired up to a relay. That worked very well for me and if I lost power I didn't need to reset anything cause when the power return the system returned to the state it should...

To save money I moved out of my apartment and into my mom's house so I can save for a house. I ran my 36g for awhile at my mom's but never liked it nor had the time...
right now it only two panels for phase 1. The main panel is like a dashboard. it going to display information like temp reading, equipment status, macro buttons, etc... the admin panel is to get into more information such as rebooting the system, shutting it down, exit the program, etc.... I...
So been working on phase 1 now that the wireless has been stabled.
So I have the main panel up and the admin panel up. I also have the start of a database which logs events. Lastly I have a button that when held down it will cause the system to reboot.
