thanks @kschweer. Trying to make it easy to read but also cover things. Its hard to write this, work on my projects, and hanbdle everything else going on in my life but I do want to try and get this going. Also hoping others will join suit and start writing articles

are you putting the pump on the outside of your sump? I'm sure you know this but you want the pump to be level with the bulkhead. I would do the hight to be level with the pump where you are going to put it.
I ordered myself (but calling it my father's day gift). Should be here Tuesday. New raspberry pi, new touch screen, and new memory card. Hope to get going with my controller again so when I am ready for a tank my controller is ready.
Well after trying to figure out where the 'power' issue is with my current set up and a crack screen. I decided to order a new pi, new memeory card, and new screen to give this a whole new start. I really miss my tank but I know right now its for the best so I will just dive into my pi project...
I agree Dyson are pricey but they are worth the money. They do a good job at cleaning but also easy to take a apart and clean when needing to. I also have a shark that works well but I am not sure the model
