Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
just seems like regular algae bloom. I honestly don't tinker the tank that much and let such events cycle thru - unless it's a mature tank and the blooms are getting worse. btw - those freaking vermetid snails get their strings everywhere - but it's localized. Pita and ugly if you ask me.
I have these -they made their way down to the sump and eventually to the MRC skimmer. They then die or their shells get sucked in and block the intake and reduce the amount of bubbles generated. So every so often when i clean the skimmer I have to shake out the dead shells.

This would be great news if other groupers follow suit (and are unaffected by eating these fish). The lionfish has messed up the Caribbean ecosystem.
just realized POTO already posted a link on this...
OK...i didn't watch last episode timely so watched it on demand last night. I personally get bored when there's a lot of chatter (campfire talk, etc). But my interest is up when I see Michonne slicing and dicing.
Anyways who else thought that dude that showed up in the last episode - looked...
I would like to hear more on the drug-informer Tortuga...(Danny Trejo). More than just his head on a turtle...LOL. Maybe he needs Saul earlier in his career...
What did you call my abulita? :D Don't forget his grandpa from BB - the guy who didn't talk and tapped his wheelchair lol.
SPOILER ALERT
I didn't see the first episode and saw the second first- and considering he only got 1 leg broken each - that was great!
i really tried not to laugh but i couldn't help it because this is SO true!
Snails do not exit their shells. Not unless it's escargot...and that is never voluntary...:D
this is the order i'd do:
firefish
filefish
chromis
LMB
false clown
coral beauty
six line
You could even argue the chromis go in first to provide the dither fish that the firefish/filefish will be happy to see about.
good luck!
btw if you have any questions - just ask - i'm happy to answer any and all. I really had a great time and honestly i'm not a genius at this reef keeping stuff ha ha!
