The tank temp dropped 2 degrees. I increased iInkbird to 80 and heaters to 82. Temp won't go over 78. I believe the heaters are 200w, stand alone one in sump and DT hooked to Inkbird. Are my heaters under sized since only one is actually on?
I have also heard of people placing the mushroom on top of a frag plug and then tie it all together with mesh. They take the mesh off once mushrooms attaches; not sure how long this takes.
So the temp would not go over 76; I even increased stand alone heater to 85. Then realized the heater connected to the Inkbird was not on. I had plugged it into the cooling plug and not heating plug. No idea why I did this but explains a lot over the past year. Now its plugged into heater plug...
I didn't realize it was plugged into it, missed when rearranging plugs during prior power outage. It's plugged into a power strip with breaker. But yeah an Apex might of helped but this was just me being stupid. I tried to make things easier but screws up big time.
