I have a dilemma....before the tank leak I had a really bad case of bryopsis. I was going to bleach the rock before using it again, but now that I've lost two fish, I'm afraid I'm out of time and need to get the new tank running asap.
So my question is...if my rock has been dried in the sun...
My temporary 55 that everything is in while I rebuild is looking like carp...I've been doing 2 water changes a week but I just lost a chromis and my bellus today.
I either need to either find a foster home for my sailfin tang and fox face or another tank just for them to keep the bio load...
Anyone in my area have a HOB skimmer I can use for a few weeks while I get the new tank ready? The 55 everything is in looks terrible....my oldest fish...sailfin tang....isn't looking great. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Crap...I was supposed to go then too, but I had such a bad sinus infection that I was in so much paid I couldn't keep my eyes open.
When we going out diving?? Any interest in Jersey Shore diving?
So as many of you know my tank sprung a leak about a week ago. This was the second time something like this has happened. I've decided to build the tank again and I will document my success...or failure...for all to see :o
Because this has been the second tank that this has happened, it came...
You can also do your classroom work online through PADI.com. They have an entire e-learning section. Then you just have to go to a shop for the pool sessions and then the check out dives.
+1 for The Dive Shop in Cherry Hill...check out their website www.thediveshopnj.com
George...when did you do your advanced dives? I was there this weekend help ping out with students and you weren't there lol.
Not to be a knock on your or a jerk, but let's face it...I don't think anyone stays on exact target with their water changes. It usually starts well, but then fades away.
I'd keep it and run it...it'll keep the tank cleaner.
Just the stand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's about 45 minutes from me, but to save half it may be worth it!!
Jim....this is the second tank I have had that has sprung a leak. So I can only figure that it is that stand. The floor in concrete so it's not that.
Where is Hidden Reef?? All I need is...
