As some of you who were there will know, i got a little Carried away during the TSA live sale. Long story short I'm gonna be out of room real quick.
I want to add a small tank to my existing set up. Is it possible to plumb another tank to my main display (hoping to use one of the Petco rimless...
I highly recommend qt'ing everything from there. Their tanks all have ich. Andrew had that Petco in top shape before covid but he was gone for the majority of it. It went downhill fast without him. Idk what it's like now as i haven't been there in a little over a month but can't imagine they...
100% and I'm almost positive that's the reason the coral has been doing bad. I saw the hole when i was dipping the coral and it was closed but i thought it was just it's skeleton
I dipped it twice with Revive. And as soon as it started looking bad, ive been doing iodine dips every 2 days. Its so gross. Looked like a bug of some sort. Like a flea. I have no idea what it is.

Reefco, ACC and Salgado all operate the same way. They don't QT fish before selling them. The only one near us that does that is TSM. They put their fish into their systems that are pre medicated. Most LFS Do it like this. their tanks are kept at therapeutic levels of copper but they DO NOT qt...
There's a ton of videos on YT on starting a reef tank (BRS 52 weeks of reefing is the most popular series but theres a ton more) as well as some awesome reefers on here of various levels of experience who are always willing to help.
From the last time I spoke with him, the fish in the store are all at therapeutic copper power levels except for maybe the Anthias and other super sensitive fish. They start the process for you but it's by no means done and you should definitely qt once you get them and finish treating them...
I know it's been a while but ive been busy and i forgot honestly. The video is from the same day i got the corals in the tank. Everything is wide open and already growing. Can't figure out how to get decent pictures but these are what i got
