I have used it and it was ok. Vinegar is soo cheap and easily available.
i can also use the vinegar for carbon dosing or to max out my kalk.
I also spray vinegar on the glass to clean it. For $1.99 for a gallon you can’t beat that.
You can use an app to keep track of your
Tank parameters. I use aquariumate it keeps everything in one location.
You can also keep track of frags/corals and fish

I feel most problem from jebao gyre pumps comes from people taking them apart to clean. I put them in a bucket for a couple of hours. I use the same bucket and I move it around to every tank.
Almost all my pumps are jebao gyre pumps from Amazon.
Cleaning is easy I put them in a bucket with vinegar.
I don’t disassemble them. I just let them run in the bucket at a low setting.
right now I own 4 of the new Sine wave pumps. I have big tanks and these pumps move about 8-9k gallons for...
I have both t5 and expensive leds I also had some cheap leds all on the same system sharing the same water and the same tank.
you don’t need 1k lights to grow corals. You can grow corals with cheap Amazon lights with no problem. The reason why I think people are finding success with t5s is...
yeah that’s a big claim. We don’t know if corals use Uv in any way. Tulio doesn’t grow corals in a farm he sells metal halides. So he has a huge gain if he can convince people that metal halides are the best way to grow corals.
the hobby has moved on and getting metal halide will be very difficult.
Let me say this leds can grow corals. If your corals are not growing it’s not the lights. You have one person tulio that’s selling metal Halides and making this point about UV. No science behind his claim just a few reefers that also don’t want change. You have farms like WWC that only use LED...
You should definitely do a par test. You will be very surprise what your numbers are. Even if you have t5 it’s a good idea to know how much par you corals are getting. With t5 this means you will have to move the fixture up or down depending on your reading.
if you are using leds it’s very...
So I am replacing my 5 gallon buckets of esv 2 part.
the alk ran out completely the calcium bucket still had some. these 5 gallon buckets lasted me almost a year lol.
I also picked up two Kessil 360x so now all my tanks have lights.
I moved a tang over and I am moving some frags slowly.
I am a big kalk fan. I dose it at night with a doser.
kalk is so cheap I paid $30 for a bucket and I still have a year later.
I feel like everyone should be dosing kalk to help with the stability in all tanks.
I have my apex monitor my ph. I have a Hanna ph pen just for back up.
I also own a seneye that also test ph and I use all of them to check each other lol

The ph will increase when you add salt mix.
Depending on what salt you use the ph should go up.
in my opinion acclimating corals is a waste of time.
They don’t really care about those swings. Temp/salinity/ph.
corals will adjust just don’t keep them at that level. 7.9 is low
You want ph around...
