On my 90 gallons, we had about 1" to 1.5" on the first test.
The wavebox is very big in my 90, so I will try to run it without a box when my 6100($200 from RC)gets here.
I am also thinking to replace the center brace for a 90 gallons. Acrylic needs to be clean once for a while. A wired one will be the best. Home Depot sells the wire with plastic wrap in the chain section. What is the best way to fasten it? I have some 1/4" Nylon screws, but I don't think they...

That is what I use. It didn't cause any problem. It is very fine sand, so you might want to use it as the lower layer of your sand bed. On top that, put an inch of regular live sand.
The sand is sugar white. Don't try to taste it. ;D
