My Orange passion Accro frag is finally starting to color up.

Update

Perhaps monti spongodes, going by color and polyp appearance. Like previously mentioned, no coral structure established yet. Thanks fellow reefers.

I need a 10 gal for a terrarium for my frog. I’m in Little Ferry nj. If someone has one laying around in the area, I have green star polyp to trade, or if it’s cheap of free, I’ll take it. If not I’ll wait for a $per gallon sale.

I have noticed this bleached spot on this coral that has had good growth and color up till this point. Any suggestions?

I took a frag, popped the original plug off, and left behind what is encrusted on the rock. So now I have 3.

I recommend to try live blackworms. Live food can stimulate feeding. Might eat Live brine shrimp, but they have little nutritional value. I find blackworms are very fattening. I happen to have a lfs that stocks them. Not available every where. I did not think they were a saltwater fish food, but...

Slimmer is losing. Fragging the slimmer to save the colony

It is developing very nicely. It has easily doubled in size since my initial post.

How do you prep the clam? Since I have been following you for a while, that you don’t buy it prepared.

My patch of gsp is starting to grow into my O”flow.

So I set up the frag chamber in my unused refuge. It had rock and rubble in there, and was previously no lighted. I had a bad alga bloom, that did not effect the dust tank. It is starting to go away. The algae never grew on any coral, but probably grew close enough to cause them some discomfort...

Brs 0.8 is the best I have found so far. I haven’t used that many, but I’m very satisfied with it.

This frag just got pushed out by the pistol shrimp. It must have been missing for a while. I don’t remember it. I think it has some live polyps. I put it down in the sump for recovery.to w

You need to use a bigger pump with it. The turbine uses up a lot of energy. Maybe 1/3 of the energy, I estimate.
