Didn't catch his name or info, but the guy behind me in line bought that whole tank. Think it was 2k with everything in there.
Was the Sinularia a bright green one? Bc I actually bought a frag of it from their frag tank for 10 bucks... was sitting on a piece of rubble rock at the bottom (must...
Surprised a bristle made it through the pump in one piece.
I just pulled my scrubber out of my tank and trying to go back to pure chaeto again now that I have the algae outbreak in my display finally back under control. (silly yellow assessor died inside of a rock I had to crack open to find...
You are cleaning them from time to time I assume? My one cp-40 definitely slowed down a few weeks after I first bought it, gave it an overnight vinegar bath and next day I had to turn it down one or two levels.
Hope you like them! I have 2 cp-40's in my 75; I got them from FishStreet for a good price last year's Black Friday sale.
The v1's had issues, but now thye are on v3 everything seems to be nothing but positive feedback.
That’s also fine, let me know your availability. I am actually working from home all week...
It’s probably 50lbs total I could weigh it in the morning.
Anyone need / want some? Really don't need any of it... mostly base rock, but some pukani may be mixed in the bottom. Most of it was semi-cured during a prior build that I stopped a few months after my cycle, so you would likely want to fully cure / bake it to get some of the algae off that...
Yea I drive down there from Union County quite often, the app pop-ups just MAKE me do it on weekends sometimes :)
Have bought a bunch from their front main tank, and a few of my fish as well. All are still healthy except for one big beautiful orange wall hammer, but that was because one of my...
Not sure what style wall you want to go with... but I just did this in my basement. It's by Timberwall. It's more of a reclaimed wood look than just paneling. SCA is awesome, Steve built my 75 for me last year :)
who and where does doller per gallon? Only place I have heard of is petsmart doing it in the past, just haven't seen it for a while if that's where we are talking about.
IF you can physically go see the tank itself, you could just put on a pair of polarized sun glasses and see if the glass has the rainbow pattern like the side windows of your car.
So I received some new coral yesterday, from a source I have not previously used.
Thankfully I always dip and quarantine, and I blew this guy off the live rock last night that one of the frags was shipped on.
Should I be happy I found him as I initially thought it was an eunicid worm, or is...
Picked up my picasso clown pair from them a few weeks ago, fair pricing and they are still super healthy and eating anything I give them. Can't complain a bit.
I've bought all of my recent coral from their Diver's Den; of 8 pieces in the last 3 weeks, only my one leather didn't make it. Everything else is thriving, the leather was due to damage during shipping (likely the carrier flipping the box around). They refunded me a week later with credit...
I am located in Clark. I have been trying a few LFS lately, I plan on checking out Sea Level, Absolutely Fish, and Ocean Image this weekend. I have only been to Ocean Gallery and Tropiquarium so far. I stopped by ELOS in Millburn a few weeks ago, but they were still in a construction phase...
Hi Everyone! Ken here, I have been keeping freshwater fish for quite some time, built a ~2500 gallon koi pond with my father about 10 years ago still going strong, have a photo attached of my current 75 gallon cichlid setup. I recently started my first salt tank, a JBJ 28 nanocube build; I am...
