It'll take time to bounce up.. If you trust the source, then the bubbles should be in its genes. Otherwise, I'd say go with the WYSIWYG that already have bubbles instead of babies.

If your line is long enough to reach the tank lol, that works. I have a small tank so I just fill 5 gallon pails and mix the water with salt for water changes. My water is coming from the same line as the washer.
I'm a beginner reefer myself too, so maybe someone with more experience can weigh in. But baking would serve the purpose of killing various micro organisms, bacteria, etc. I'd be concerned with the subsequent decomposition of said organisms over time. And every time someone touches the sand...
To be safe, I personally would cycle new sand and rock from a trusted source. Who knows what those critters/sand could be carrying. Plus they might carry stuff and be immune to it, but when you start stocking livestock, those may not have the same immunity because they've never encounter it...

I have a tiger paired with yellow watchman, and on the other side of the rock, a candy cane paired with black ray.. occasionally they all jumble and swap exits, kinda cute.
I don't vac either, my nass. snails and 2 pistol pairs do plenty cleaning. Occasionally I use a turkey baster to blast the rocks to clean out all the little tunnels and crevices of detritus.
Prime and Stability may detoxify the ammonia, but you'll need to give the natural bacteria time to grow in your substrate and rock.. they'll take care if your ammonia the old fashion way and you won't have to rely on chemicals..
