I saw one in a LFS about a year ago. I hesitated to buy due to the price. A day later I decided to buy it, went back but it was gone. The color was something like the photo.
Thanks Raquel, I contacted Dana. I'll see what he says.
I'm with Paul and Horseplay. I've used IO for almost 20 years. They have the formula correct, one of the more reasonable price wise, I've never had an issue in that time period. I maintain Calc and Alk using two part and Kalk dosing.

My family goes to the Ft Lauderdale area regularly and I was thrilled to hear that there were areas in Florida where corals were growing so well. Those corals looked very healthy to me. Much nicer than many of the staghorn’s I’ve seen snorkeling in the Keys.

Never heard of it either, but it is a nice looking piece. I find that if you are not sure, start with it low in the tank, let it adapt (weeks) and then move it up closer to the lights to see how it reacts. Slower is better.

Hey Jim, how are things? I was looking back through this thread at some of your recent pictures. I find it interesting that a few of the corals that you got from me, look better in your tank (even before my recent issues with lighting). You seem to be on a roll with the tank now. Good for you...
Ok. The Pink lemonade look s much nicer in your tank. I'm jealous. The milli turned psychedelic in your tank or is that just the photo

Jim,
I had a lot of success with my Copperband once I introduced live blackworms. It ate them like it hadn't eaten in a week, which was probably true at the time. Live black worms are a pain to keep feeding. Eventually (after like 6 months) I started introducing the frozen mysis at the same time...
I cut down my large colony severely to make room for other SPS. There are at least 1/2 dozen large pieces that I threw into the sump if fellow reefers want some. I also have a number of Blue Tort frags, and Teal colored Milli frags for sale, $15 each.

Yeah, I've had issues with getting the ricordea to stay mounted. It seems the best way is to just put a small rock next to the rock full of ricordea and wait for them to move over. I'm sure I will have more in the future, I'll save one for you. Maybe a trade for some of the Miami orchid.
Hey Jim,
Yes, that green slimer will quickly take over part of the tank if not kept under control. In fact I see myself doing some serious triming in the next week or so. The blue tort is not as fast, but can similarly dominate a section of tank. How is the other stuff doing?

Here is a picture of the RBTA clone that split from the mother colony a few months back. I would estimate that he is at least 6 inches in dia. Selling for $50.
The picture is taken from above. Very nice colors.
