Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Welcome [emoji4] Glad you’re posting on here! We’re all looking to help.
Do you/ have you tested your water? If not, I highly recommend getting kits for alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, phosphate, and nitrate.
Definitely post as many pictures as possible, it’s always great to see another...
That’s what I was thinking of doing. I looked this morning before the lights came on and the coral was all puffed up & happy and Dave was nowhere to be found (which is pretty impressive considering his size)
The coral seems good there so I think I’ll do just that and make a little barrier that...
I totally didn't even think of that, Dave backed himself into the left corner today and couldn't get out so I totally forgot that he would run right over this thing given the chance. I did help him get out of that spot so he might even be on top of the coral right now, I wouldn't know :(...
I did not. I had a good time watching the stream but didn’t see anything I was wiling to pay that price for and then shipping. I’ve never actually ordered anything online before and it’d take something really special to get me to.

Took another trip over to @OiA today and picked up some cool stuff with the birthday $$ that was burning a hole in my pocket.
My first “stick” SPS in this tank, a Montipora digitada and a stylopora. Both are already showing great PE from only a few hours in the tank.
Jack O’ lantern lepto...

As the title says, I recently added a reefkeeper to my system that had been sitting in storage for a while. During the move I lost the SID (the connector that plugs into a USB to connect to your computer) and don't really want to pay the $25 for a new one. Does anyone have one that I could...
I'm heading back up this Sunday, you should join me. I was absolutely blown away by Alex's shop and will likely be buying a vast majority of my coral from him in the future. Definitely worth a visit.

What does everyone use to Calibrate their temperature probes? I'm about to add mine back onto my system after having it sit for >1 year.
Should I get a new probe or can I just recalibrate it? And if calibration is the way to go, what should I use? Thanks.

Can confirm that to frag this coral ( and most softies) you can just slice a piece off and let it attach somewhere. I have a piece of leather in my system that I got from a friend who sliced it in front of me. I rubber banded it to a rock in my DT and it’s been doing fine. The wound is finally...
