Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
If you have LED's, turning the blur down and the whites up will definitely help you take closer to real life pictures. I have marsaqua LEDS on my tank and run them at 100% both channels, which gives the tank an overall equivalent to 10000K-14000K T5s or halides.

Yeah taken at the same time with the same camera though, here’s a side by side of the same photo:

Makes it way less blue, I would do it on a coral but I don’t have any that are really affected by blue saturation. Soon though :)

This is what I do:
Take picture:
Bring into snapseed, go to tools, then tune image and play around with those settings until you get it where you want
White balance, brightness, contrast make the most dramatic changes
Ends looking like this [emoji4]

I take mine with an iPhone 8 with my blue LEDs turned down, then I bring the picture into an app called Snapseed and adjust the color until it’s where I like.
You might want to look into getting an orange gel filter to put in front of your camera, it filters out blue an makes the picture...

I have the eshopps one from my last tank and the DIY one is louder than I would like. Honestly though there’s no real need to switch. Were you looking. To use one on your tank?

Yes that is the one I’m using. Going to switch to a HOB eshopps PF-800 this weekend though. Would have sooner but the u tube came broken in the mail :/

The other wave maker I have in this tank is a wp-25 that I’ve had for >2 years with no problems. I had another die on me but I was probably aided by the fact that I cut part of the controller off with a hole saw.....
Anyways....

It is not. Currently I have one of those DIY PVC overflows on it but today actually I should have a HOB eshopps overflow coming. I wanted to drill it but wasn’t confident enough to try.

Hello everyone, My name is Eric Manning. I've been keeping freshwater tanks for almost 8 years now and Saltwater for 5.
I started with a small 10 gallon that lasted about a year and killed way more corals than I'd like to think of.....
Then I upgraded to a 29g with a sump and had some success...
