My Clown Goby thought the mushrooms Paulie gave me were his. Unfortnately, he didn't mind getting stung and would have a fungus looking skin that I needed to treat so I had to move them to a different spot. Well, my thoughts that he would get eaten by a rock flower is pretty much a given at...
I am sorry but I totally sold out of my dwarf ponies. They were a lot of work.. not the ponies themself but hatching brine shrimp, separating them, enriching them and keeping hydroids out. I spent most of my time in the laundry room just doing that.
dwarf seahorses - help & advice on fb is a...
Paulie gave me a rock covered with 5 mushrooms. When l broke the rock up, there was a worm in the rock, like it ate a tunnel.
I put it in glass cookie jar for qt and in the morning there were trails on the glass. Any idea what it could be? How to get rid of?
I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier. What works well is to use a hair pin... yes, a hair pin, the kind that has the little plastic bobs on the ends. You open the pin and use one to lightly touch the opening of the pouch then push the air out. Isn't as hard as it sounds...
yeah, syphioning is pretty rough on them, best to have brine shrimp net handy.
Also will be good to have sponges in your fuge to be seasoned so you can have the bio ready for the 3 gallon. Double sponge air will be the best so you can alter them. Bare bottom for easier care. Something for...
I actually thought of that... if I could move my clown, clown goby and firefish to 7.5 gallon then put the Paulie seahorses in the 20 gallon but it is AIO so only 15 gallon display. And after having experience with them in a 20 gallon with a 10 gallon fuge, just didn't seem big enough... would...
I decided to sell off my dwarf seahorses. They weren't really hard themselves but doing all the brine shrimp hatching, enriching, etc took a lot of time. Seemed I was always in the laundry room getting them ready for the ponies. I wasn't painting.... just more brine shrimp care.
The new tank I...
Anyone have some dry rock they are not using? The tank is only 7.5 gallons... not even sure how much I will need. I want to get rock flowers
I have some macro I can trade
I know for me, a lot of the towns I never heard of lol but by using zip code can see whole area that is local.
I'm in Tuckerton... ever hear of it :oo:
LOL... already up to 28 again. Seems some babies were born during this whole thing. You would think they would be the first to die but they are fine. Happily, my favorite female and her mate lived... actually my original 4 made it.
I called the company (great guy) and he agreed that the bacteria didn't have anything to grab on to once I took the sand out.
Dwarf seahorses just have to be treated different then regular salt tanks
I started using it in my 20 gallon and love it. It did a great job, that was why I tried it in my pony tank.
I think it had this reaction because there was no sand and only few rocks in the tank.
So I do recommend the product, my 20 gallon looks great since I started using it.
