That is why I asked because this company said there will always be some hatch and I never heard of problem from people.
9 boogers from just 5 drops was too many to be chance in my opinion.
What brand you use? I have a problem with bleach but think decapsulating myself may be the way...
I was thinking about the JB magnetic hatcher that someone was going to try using in her dwarf seahorse tank. Then I started thinking, if that worked, why not try a self feeding station using decapsulated brine shrimp eggs? Sounds good, huh? I made a small hatchery out of leftover plastic...
It's been a while since I've been here and a few things have happened.
My clown stopped eating after I lost my joker. She showed no signs of illness other then not eating and after a week, still looked fat and healthy. I first tried a freshwater dip and then finally decided to do a worming...
It is always sad when you lose a fish...
Joker wasn't looking right every now and then but eating. I did a scrubbing of hair algae and next day he was dead in the intake, stuck to the new Marineland filter medium I had gotten. :blue:
Next day, clown stopped eating... she is looking less...
That happened before... I have to remember to download to computer before posting
Here you go
I haven't seen him eat yet. I had the kid feed and was looking at another one when he caught this one. I asked if he ate and he said yes but....
I'm also on a Nana site and it is amazing how much stuff they put in those little tanks and they are able to keep them alive.
I like my macro but sometimes wonder....
Stopped at Absolutely Fish and as I was making a deal on selling my harvested red macro, I saw captive bred Court Jesters!! (remember mine from liveaquaria came in sad and didn't make it and although they replaced the money, they wouldn't send a new one to replace) I got it as part of the...
My tank is nano... 20x12x14... what do you do when it gets too big?
I don't mind cutting back the macro but an anemone is a live animal. :(
Someone said a bubbletip grows slow...
So the fake anemone started getting green and funky looking but it seems like Mocha likes it now.
I put it in to keep the room for the blue macro I'm waiting on getting once it's available.
And look at all that pink coraline algae on it! Not growing on the rocks but on this stupid thing lol
Wasn't sure where I could ask this. Can someone tell me what these are and if they are good.
They are about 1/4 inch and smaller, attached to the rock, soft and do not retract when touched.
I saw one in display but most are in my in tank filter where it is dark.
Looking up hitchhikers what...
Absolutely Fish had it the one time I stopped in...they were thrilled I brought a bunch back. Been growing like crazy.
Would you like some?
I'm looking for some blue Ochtodes. They had some blue but I didn't want to spend the money at the time. I have someone in Florida that is willing to give...
The acrylic top I made kept bending with the heat of the light so I put the legs on. Think this might help with the excessive hair too. Still looks good too... shelf is high enough
Thank you deep but it is a 20 gallon high... made it very interesting to configure the intank filter. But because of the depth and the fact it is a macro tank, I was able to fill the space in filter bottom with rock rubble.
And I was happy with how the rock came out... if you look at it a...
