Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
This was my first time meeting Joe, another in a long line of really good people I’ve met since finding the club, lurking a while, and ultimately joining. Bunch of hobbyists looking to share knowledge and experiences, advance what we know, and generally paybit forward without taking a loss...
I’ve seen it recommended to replace every two years. I once had a a heater break and the problem is that when they break they get stuck on, not off, so they overheat everything. A controller is on my wish list this year for that reason. I’d say if you have a controller you probably don’t need...
Bittersweet-great for you but at the same time sad to turn the page sometimes.
Eric’s tank is stellar, for anyone who hasn’t seen it, his fish and coral are very well cared for.
I’ll be tracking this closely my friend. Sorry to see you go but excited for you about what’s coming next. Good luck!
When do monthly pictures have to be posted? My waters been cloudy from a recent diamond watchman addition but it’s clearing up and I just found a fourth zoa polyp here today. Psyched about that.

I'm in for a maybe here....its close, and no kids soccer games on Memorial Day weekend. Just have to see if I'm committed to my lovely wife's work BBQ....I may have kids in tow if that's OK. Hoping to finally make a meeting. Thanks for hosting!
Eric, thanks so much for the birds nest frag and the leather cutting. You’re a great asset to the club, starting the grow out and building relationships with a lot of members here. Thanks bud!
Here’s some more pics. I’ve spotted three of them peeking out from under my main rock work. So far as natural predators go I have a yellow coris wrasse, but since that burrows at night I’m guessing these guys are safe from him if they’re nocturnal?
Tonight I spotted a fairly long work (2 inches or so reaching out from under a rock, no idea of the full length). Under red light it kept reaching out, as soon as I shined a white flashlight it withdrew quickly. Here’s a picture under red and a picture with my white flash, which caused it to...
