No i use to Turn the one in my tank with my long tong or the long stick I use to stir up the sand always worked.... the blade was easy to turn still in tank

I had the same problem with the one I use to mix water, I Give the Blade a 1/4 turn on the turn power head back on usually works.... but I also had another one I use to force the blade to turn will plugged in ( not recommending but it works )... that's why I switched to the Vortechs never have...

Following,,, could be a bad switch or loose wire.. a voltage tester could help with testing where you are not getting power to or from.. (the switch or the power cord)

Still looking... someone wants to make room in their tank out there? Maybe get a new piece ur self....
