Hi all, I've got a tank to breakdown. I've already posted some items on a fb group so if an admin would let me know if I can link that here for a bit more exposure that would be great. For now I'm going to just post a couple things but everything will be going for sale at some point. I'm just...
Hi everyone,
Unfortunately we will be moving with tentative plans on this spring/summer and it's just not feasible for me to move my tank and livestock so I will be selling it all off before we move. That said I've never been very much into the online trade of the hobby so I don't really know...
Ha I'm not quite selling off my fish just yet :beguiled: A move is still at least a year away, I'm just the sort that likes to over plan for big things. They're all clown gobies.
My big concern is really the integrity of the seams after being shipped so far in a moving truck like that. It's one thing when they have the manufacturer packing but I'm not sure if I want to play around with leaky seams. This is already a new tank because the one I had before this had leaking...
That was my thought. I figured if I just buy a couple of those five gallon boxes of water from Petco to keep on hand, put the corals in a cooler with a bubbler and baby heater and I will hopefully be okay. Fish just seem a bit too much but I'm hoping to take some inverts. I'm even experimenting...
Hi everyone,
We'll be moving in about a year give or take and I'm wondering if anyone has sold off their whole system how long it took to actually go through with that. Should I be getting a 40 breeder from petco now as my temporary-permeant tank for the things that I want to keep or at the very...
I go to sea level for my salt, I'm due for more pretty soon now, but I only go to absolutely for my livestock. Maybe one day I'll think about getting a coral from sea level, but my wallet has held me back so far.
Darn should've thought to ask. Oh well. I wasn't in the market anyway.
I went today, it was neat. A bit (lot) disappointed in the shark thing, three nurse sharks in a fairly small tank and then a person dives in there with them to touch them how many times a day... then they are transported...
Did you get them from Hanna are they below the 50$ retail or something?
I'd love to be able to go Sunday unfortunately my convention partner's got other plans, maybe I'll just skip this time.
Over the way it was intended to be!!
Not to mention since our holder is recessed into the wall (really dumb 70s house planning so many weird things in this house) it means if it goes under it lays on the wall.
ACC if it's the ACC that comes up on google being in Ocean County is a bit far for a casual trip to the store.
I like Absolutely Fish. That is the only fish store I like to go to. I looked at some others but I'm absolutely sticking with Absolutely ;) If I ever end up traveling south I'll...
Okay well I'll keep that in mind at least. Small mammals are my real favorite pets, the fish was a neat hobby I picked up because I like to watch the inverts and se the corals but seeing the small mammals in pet store conditions is a pretty solid tipping point for me.
