I've had terrible luck QT'ing anything. Nothing has made it past treatment except mollies. I'm towards the end of treating a purple tang that i got along with 2 wrasses. Tang is still alive. Wrasses couldn't make it even through TTM. I wanna get a lyre tail anthias but I've lost so much more...

Wrasses, specially fairy wrasses, do horrible with copper. They can't handle it. I haven't had any luck at all with QT wrasses aside from my yellow coris (it's the only one I have). It's too bad because they're my favorite type of fish

It can't live forever out of the fridge. It goes bad. The reason we keep them in the fridge is because it keeps them in sort of a frozen stage where they're basically asleep. All you need to do is make sure you shake the bottle once a day to every other day

Fish are not immune to anything. Specially not ich or other parasites. Just like how we as humans are not 100% immune to anything. If everything is good in the tank, your fish develop a good immune system. But they can most certainly still get parasites and diseases.

I personally prefer TTM for ich and velvet. Then into qt for everything else. This is all after having 0 luck with using copper on any fish other than mollies and that's only because they happened to be in the qt
