AI Sol Blue/Vega upgrade or Orphek Nilus

Frank I cannot give you any advice with regards to blastos or acans as i do not have any in my DT, but I would think that they would do this under any LED light not just AI's. The growth with my SPS has been a little slower with the Vega's as they arent the par monsters like the SOL's but the...

AI Sol Blue/Vega upgrade or Orphek Nilus

Hey Frank, welcome to NJRC, sorry to hear you are related to Brando!! LOL JK!! I have been running the Vega's for several months and love them. They are so much better than the SOL blues in so many ways. I have no experience with that Orphek light, but you are welcome to check out my Vega's at...

Sand sifting gobies & sand in the water column?

    Why so expensive?

No. If you ask anybody on this forum that has bought from me I dont sell anything at "MSRP". Although I don't exactly give things away, as I spend much time and money on corals and my system and just look to recoup what I spend. I give a large discount to local reefers and ship to hobbyists all...

    Why so expensive?

Well I will address the OP's question rather than tangent off. 1. Actually $150 is not expensive relatively speaking, initially these were selling for $500, just a few years back. 2. These are not "fragged so easy", they multiply much slower than your normal average mushroom, which grow like...

    The 210 tank build

LOL, all parties involved knew it was tongue in cheek. Hell I would have grabbed the angel if I wasnt concerned about it nipping at my SPS. Its an amazing fish for sure!!
