Don't trust the top trim of the tank it's put on with silicone and might not sit true to the tank. I check the stand and the bottom glass pane of the tank. I use the bottom trim as a quick reference.

What size tank are you looking for?

SPS will grow on anything. I've seen a few tanks where SPS, not just monti caps, were growing on the glass or overflows.

In my 20L's: Skimmer sections is 10x12", Center section is 12"x12" and Return section is 8"x12" with 2.5" between the baffles for a filter sponge.

For the sump or DT?

My NPX pellets kicked in at about the 3 week mark. My phosphates went from .12 at week 2, down to .03 by the end of week 3. Edit: That was 200mL in the 40B.
