Tank may not be fully matured yet I'm thinking, or the specimens weren't acclimated properly before they went into the tank. Can't confirm but that's my guess

i recently just chucked a .6 drop model as it was causing an electric shock in my tank

my .2 model may need to be tossed if that happens, the hose line is buried underneath

Firefish are nice and are pretty common, Maybe also look into a Jester or Hector's Goby. They both stay pretty small and should do fine in a nano
