I always do front to back and side to side. And the gaps that the spacers do I like to fill those gaps up with shims. Just so that the stand doesn't have a long span with gaps.

I used to direct feed mine every other day. Since I didn't have any clowns hosting it. I've noticed mine used to hide a bit and close up a bit before splitting. Not saying that's what's occurring with yours but that's what mine used to do.

Okay so if I run it thru the UV fast it will kill of some of the pathogens and bateria. Yeah I know the water isn't 100% prestige. Believe I'm taking everyone advice into consideration on this. If I had a boat I would definitely be going further out. Thanx for advice on the UV.

Reefer nets. If I were to process the NSW thru a UV Light wouldn't it kill all the benifical stuff like the phytoplankton and zooplankton that's in the water colum?
