Wouldn't the protein skimmer take care of bio?
I'll def look into chemipure blue - I've heard that talked about a LOT.
The AIO has a spillover into 2 socks so that takes care of that !
I will be running a Tunze 9001 protein skimmer, this shouldn't be added till after it cycles correct?
I plan on having a fuge... chaeto and a light.
I see people use media reactors in place of one filter sock, thoughts on this? That would contain a carbon bag and others you mentioned previously.
Here is the tank I bought...

Hello,
I am just wondering what is the best filter accessories to install into my sump (AIO portion) of the tank? I see people putting carbon bags media reactors? etc...
I am just wondering if someone can help me out!
The back of my brothers tank is ALWAYS dark. Hence why he struggles with keeping his levels stable. I keep trying to tell him but he's stubborn. I would have loved a 80/100 long. Would look so clean and cool. Furthermore the deep tanks are SO hard to reach the bottom.
What exactly do you mean by a lagoon style? I am not sure of the different types? My brother has a 65 deep & Tall. I prefer the longer tanks which allow fish to swim longer lengths. So I am really excited.
WOW! This is really helpful. Thank you for supplying this! I will note this when I am setting my tanks up! I am so excited!!! Tank comes in tomorrow. Remainder of supplies come in early next week. Just have to coordinate with you when I can make it to woodbridge.
I agree ! One wouldn't cover the entire tank since it's 36 inches long. If I decide on SPS Ill have to figure that out down the road. Did you see my most recent Pm?
Is there any major difference? I'd be doing at Max 5 gallons a week water changes and than daily top off. I think the buddy is sufficient just wanna make sure it's quality enough that it isn't producing water that isn't much better quality.
So everyone uses the RO buddy as opposed to something like this..
5 Stage Premium RO/DI System - Bulk Reef Supply
I will take a look for the thread - you think buying second hand lights is okay?
I may have to get this buddy as it's MUCH cheaper than the 200 dollar systems I've seen. Do you get this:
Aquatic Life RO Buddie Three Stage Reverse Osmosis, 50-Gallon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DOG63OY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4dwICb3BJKFMB
and install the DI cartridge ?
I keep hearing...
