Welcome back. And unfortunately theres nothing else in that area to check out. Acc is really all youll need. A one stop shop and a pretty nice one at that.
Figures. I bought the kamoer dosing pump for my calcium reactor about 2 months ago. Wish I would have known about the wifi unit. Would have made life so much easier.
I have the same fish qt belief that you do. Although I do dip my corals. And yet somehow I still wound up with asterina stars and a few aptaisa here and there
Dont wast your money on buying a premade sump. Find the biggest tank you can get in there. And make it it's very easy to do, just like the link you shared and yoy.can customize it to fit your needs. As for automation that's all danger Dave's territory. I dont run a Neptune. I have a few...
So you can get a reeflink which will.allow you to program and modify all of your ecotech devices on one place. I use it to control my mp40 to do different programs...reef crest, lagoon, tidal swell and different intensities during the day and a light away at night. My lights are the xr30 non...
I was actually looking at them for my next build when I do my big tank I was planning on doing 2 closed loops with flow coming from the top eurobrace but was thinking about using 2 on the front center to change the flow up. Bc I'm gonna have 3/4" glass I wont be able to use powerheads like the...
What's this "if" stuff. Bring a bunch Haha that's a really cool looking sponge. Just keep the bristle worms. I've so far been able to keep them out of my tanks this time . Haha
Y not make one? DIY t5 is very easy to do and you could offset the bulbs to stretch across the entire tank and have them on multiple circuits so you could do a ramp up ramp down. Would probbaly be cheaper than buying a monster fixture.
I believe it's the way the corals control their microbiome and the way they collect their foods. There was a study on how sps have a different bacteria around their polyps which affect they way they take up nutrients. In a low flow system they're able to reach out further without affecting...
I agree with this, especially in an sps system. Although I noticed in my tank with "excess" flow that my acros never grew long single branches they then to be more compact tighter groupings within the colony.
I think the 2 would be plenty. Expecially if you link them with a reeflink to the app, you can really get them synced up nice for a nice reef lagoon or reef crest during the day and a nice tide pool flow at night.
What type of powerheads re you looking at getting? I would recommend either the nero5s or mp40s(preferably the 40s). One in each side and you can program them for different flows and modes through out the day.
Also just remember with your loc line returns not tho have them too low in the water...
The gen 4 pros are around 800 so y wouldnt the new ones be the same if not more. Love my gen 4s and they're not even the pros. I do like how the get 5 has a separate moon light channel so it's not the while light illuminating your tank. I'm also pretty Interested to see the difference between...
