If the magnet is exposed it will cause issues and you'll have elevated metals in your water. Most likely copper. Have you been having any issues with snails dying? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I was suggesting you check for corrosion of the magnet that unused to hold the powerheads in place. Overtime the casing can breakdown and the magnet gets exposed to saltwater and begins to corrode. When i clean them I check to make sure the casing is good. I've been seeing it a lot lately on...

Club sponsored - Group Buy. Attempt 1

group buys are cool, but can be inconvenient. i'm not going to drive an hour to save $25. most of us are extremely busy so everything is a matter of convenience. personally, i think organizing a specific day a month with our LFS sponsors to give paid members a discount on certain things would...

    Looking for a compact ATO

Do you have any space on the side? Could use a cereal container from Wal-Mart and drill a hole in it. There $6 and are only about 6 inches wide and I believe it will hold close to 2 gallons. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-Large-Cereal-Dispenser/16206980 Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

How about some pics? Parameters seem fine. What kind of fish do you have in the tank? Sometimes one of them can be nipping. My PE wasnt very good for a while. I had a flame angel and never saw him nip. When he decided to jump out of the tank my PE finally got much better! Sent from my...

    Harlequin

Anyone looking to rehome a harlequin shrimp in North jersey? Counted close to 50 asterinas in my glass this morning which means I probably have 100s. Figured I'd ask before I hit up am LFS. Saw one the other day for $70 at an LFS. Seems high to me. Jay Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Will Aqamai replace ecotech?

Gonna have to check aqamai pumps out. At $120 for a fully programmable powerhead, that's tough to beat. Can't justify dropping $350 on an ecotech. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
