Diana, I can't believe yours is that big in a 40g. Mine has 4 heads (/mouths) and is about 6-8 inches long when open and seems huge in my 90g. Like Mark said, you can frag it but not easily I guess. (Similar to a wall hammer). You have to cut through the flesh and that can cause problems.

Nice fish. The cardinal looks similar to a “Stop Light Cardinal” I saw and bought about 8 years ago. I almost never saw him/her. Always scared and stayed in a cave. Pretty fish though. Hopefully yours are out more.

It's an awesome looking setup. So sorry you aren't getting to see it finished. It's a great deal and I would love to jump on it, but it's just not in the cards right now I don't think. So tempted, but just not in the budget right now. :(
