Thanks for the offer, and all the information. We've been using test strips, and checking salinity with a refractometer. The only thing that changes is the temp by about 4 degrees. From what I can tell the water is in good shape. The one white raised bump was there when we put the fish in our...
Could this be Lymphocystis? Looking at some pics on the internet, and thats what matched the closest. The lump at the tail looks like a head of cauliflower. Should he be removed from the tank? I have no quarentine tank, so the options are not good if he has to come out
I tried to upload a picture of my smaller clown, can anyone help id what this is. The smaller bump is raised and we noticed it when we put the fish in the tank about a week ago. Today we noticed the growth near the tail and he looks like he is trying to shake it off. Any advice would be...
Thanks, When you install one of those baskets, it's my understanding that a new skimmer needs to go along with it. I've been looking at the Aqua-Medic and the Tunze, does anyone reading this have any experience with either of these brands?

I noticed that the charcoal bag is pulled up into the pumps, is there a better way to configure this chamber? The chamber has a biofilter on the bottom and then the charcoal filter, both are below the pumps. This is how the instructions said to put it togther. The tank is a Red Sea Max 34...
We put in 20lbs of wet sand, and there's roughly 30lbs of rock. As far as live rock goes, does the man made rock help the tank the same as natural rock? Would it be ok to put the Biospira in while the two Clownfish are already there?

Thanks, The tank was running for seven days before we put the fish in. We tested with strips, the only thing that looked off was the ph everything else looked good. I'm not sure of the age, but one is about1.25 and the other is 1.5 to 1.75 inches. They seem to be getting along.
Regards,
Scott
These are the first two fish in my new tank, a 34 Gallon Red Sea. The larger of the two moves quickly up and down about 1.5 - 2 inches for a few seconds then swims around like normal. Is this ok? This is my first tank so everything is new to me, thanks .
