I have an RO/DI.

I make 50 gallon batches. The setup has more then paid for itself in the last 10 months.

I been using a RO/DI unit since day one and agree it works great. I see you are using tap-a-talk so do you not see the poll at the top of this thread? If so I need to look into why. Please note our site is mobile friendly so you don't have to use a third party app to access our site.

There should be more choices. When I first started, I used natural seawater. I also used, tap water and a salt mix to initially fill the tank as I was looking to start a fish tank. I purchased my first corals primarily to bring in coralline algae into my tank. Now I use a premix. Part of the reason for doing so was that I always had a good excuse to got to the fish stores, and could get brine shrimp at the same time. Lately, I have been getting a premix from Ultimate corals as I believe it is geared more to reef tanks. But as I am not getting any younger, and toting 45 pounds up the stairs weekly is getting old, I hope to go RODI. I have been hoping to hold off until I can put in a larger tank closer to the water source.

Wonder why the app doesn’t support polling....

because I don't own where I am living I have to hook up my RO/DI unit everytime I go to use it.

I will have to look into it. I think we might need to update something on our backend. Just note if you open your phone's web browser you can view our page with out any issues.

I purchase RODI water and when it's nice weather will go out on the boat to collect water. I am strongly thinking of getting BRS RODI unit.
