You think a 600watt MH would be over kill on a 75 gallon tank? I have one from my hydroponics systems i no longer use and figured it could light up my system, but i know it would sky rock my water temp and dont know if i could afford a chiller right now. So maybe it might be for sale soon

I would say it's a bit much.

Not much market in the home reef hoby for 600w MHs. Especially since I don't think you'll find bulbs for it in any of the places we shop.

You most likely can't get bulbs in the right color spectrum for our tanks and the temps would be OUTRAGEOUS. I'd pass on those.
