75gpd Filmtec RO membrane

I just purchased this from Ligershark today.....a day old 75gpd Filmtec RO membrane.

When I purchased my RO unit back in 2008, I was told it was a 75 gpd unit. Considering I make 5 gallons in about 90 minutes, that calculates out to 80 gallons a day. Well, I pull my old membrane only to find it's a 50 gpd membrane.

So this is back up for sale. HERE is Ligershark's original ad.....same, $20 for an almost new membrane. I'm located in Sayreville.

Thanks for looking.

You can put another membrane than the one you started with. I have had 50,75,100 with restrictor in my Coralvue RODI that came with a 50GPD to start. Works the same unless you have some issue with water pressure.

James, I'm scratching my head on this one. I'm making (by calculation) 80 gpd from my 50 gpd membrane. The restrictor I'm currently running is a 550. According to BRS, this is the same restrictor I need for the 75 gpd membrane. So now I'm thinking I'll put in this new membrane and test the good to bad ratio to see if I'm getting about 1:3 to 1:4. If so, I'll keep it. Otherwise I've got to consider a capilary restictor, which I'll have to cut to "fit".

Then again, someone could have a virtually new membrane for half the cost. I'm sure some of you could use a membrane change.
